church planter

Stéphan was the first baby born in a young church plant in Mont-Saint-Hilaire in the late 1970s, during a period of revival for the Gospel in Quebec.

He grew up in a Christian family for whom church life was central. He dedicated his life to the Lord at 17 and began part-time studies in theology out of personal interest.

In 2007, he and his wife Nancy left their jobs to serve at a Christian camp—Nancy as an administrative assistant and Stéphan as director of ministries. They remained there for nine years, and during that time their two daughters, Alyssa and Sarah, joined the family.

In 2015, they felt called to serve in church planting. They joined Église Évangélique Baptiste de St-Hyacinthe, which was planning to plant a church in Beloeil. Stéphan completed his theology studies in 2017, and in 2018 he took leadership of the church planting project.

In 2017, the youngest, Loukas, joined the family.
